A tight side yard is one of those spots that a lot of contractors either skip over or do a rushed job on. Not enough room to work comfortably, awkward angles, and the finished product still has to look clean. That's exactly the kind of challenge we took on with this Sunnyvale fence installation.
Here's what we were working with - a narrow corridor running along the side of the home, sandwiched between two structures. Space like that doesn't leave much margin for error. Every board has to be set straight, every post has to be plumb, because there's nowhere to hide sloppy work in a confined run like this.
The result is a solid wood fence that runs the full length of the side yard without a gap, a wobble, or a missed beat. The cap rail sits level from end to end, the boards are tight and consistent, and the whole thing ties cleanly into the existing structure. That kind of fit matters - especially in a space that's visible every time you walk in or out.
Beyond just the side yard run, the double-gate section turned out sharp too. Wide enough to be functional, framed out properly with a base rail keeping everything square against the gravel, and built to actually hold up over time. A fence that looks good on day one but sags six months later isn't worth much. We build with that in mind on every job.
Whether your old fence finally gave out or you're just ready for something that actually does its job - privacy, security, a clean finished look - a properly installed wood fence makes a real difference. We do this work all across the Sunnyvale area and we take the same care on every run, tight side yard or wide open backyard.
